Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the TryAIToday Automator browser extension ("the extension", "we", "us") collects, why, and how it is handled. By installing or using the extension you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

The extension collects the minimum needed to run, enforce the free trial, and manage the one-time Lifetime license:

• Google account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, profile picture, and a Google account identifier, contained in a signed Google token (id_token). We use Google sign-in (OpenID Connect) and request only the openid, email, and profile scopes. We never receive your password.
• A device identifier — a random value generated on your device to enforce the per-license device limit. It is not linked to any hardware identifier.
• Your settings — folder, model, aspect ratio, count, quality, file naming, and refresh options.

2. How we use it

• To identify your account for the free-trial allowance and the Lifetime entitlement.
• To count free-trial usage and to issue and verify your Lifetime license (including a per-license device limit).
• To start a checkout when you choose to purchase.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the extension, and we do not sell your data.

3. Where your data goes

• Stored on your device (via the browser's local storage): your settings, your Google session token, your signed license token, and the random device identifier.
• Sent to our backend (Firebase Cloud Functions, hosted on Google Cloud): your Google token and account identifier/email, solely to verify your identity, manage the trial count, and issue/verify your license.
• Sent to our payment provider (see Payments): your email and account identifier, only when you start a purchase.

4. What we do NOT collect or access

• Your prompts and generated images. Prompts are sent only to your own Google Flow session to generate images. Generated images are created in your Google Flow account and downloaded to your device. We never receive, store, or access them.
• Your payment-card details. Card information is entered on our payment provider's secure checkout page and is never seen or stored by the extension.
• We do not collect your browsing history, location, health data, or personal communications.

5. Payments

Purchases of the Lifetime license are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as the Merchant of Record. When you start a purchase we share your email and account identifier with the payment provider to create your order. Your card details are handled entirely on the provider's hosted checkout. The provider processes your payment under its own privacy policy and terms.

6. Third parties

We rely on these service providers to operate the extension:

• Google — sign-in, and the Google Flow service the extension automates on your behalf using your own session.
• Google Firebase / Google Cloud — hosts our backend that manages the trial and license.
• Dodo Payments — processes the one-time purchase as Merchant of Record.

7. Data retention

Account, trial, and license records are kept for as long as your account exists or as needed to provide the Lifetime entitlement and meet legal/accounting obligations. Data stored locally on your device is removed when you sign out or uninstall the extension.

8. Security

Data in transit is protected with HTTPS. Identity is verified using signed Google tokens, and licenses are cryptographically signed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

9. Your rights

You may sign out at any time to remove locally stored data, and you may request access to or deletion of the account data we hold by emailing us. Some records may be retained where required by law.

10. Children

The extension is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and is not intended for their use.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
